Here at DoylesRoom we are committed to provide our players with a safe and responsible gaming environment. It is our goal to offer you a safe and secure way to play the game you love, but also to make sure your experience stays fun and positive.

Online poker is a great form of entertainment that is enjoyed by millions of players around the world, but we recognize that even though most players play for fun and entertainment, a small percentage could play underage or may lose control of their gaming habits. Follow this link for our tips on responsible play click here.

As a responsible operation, we take an active role in ensuring that players who should not be playing at all are prevented from playing and those who are gambling excessively or beyond their means are given the help that they need.

Age Verification

DoylesRoom takes steps to ensure the age and identification of every new customer. Every person registering a new account at DoylesRoom must check a box that indicates that they are at least 18 years of age.

To ensure that minors do not play, when a player creates an account with DoylesRoom, we verify their name and birth date to a legal form of identification.

Our poker room is not designed to attract underage people. However, with the internet being accessible in many homes around the world, we believe that gaming companies and parents must work together to protect minors from gambling. If you have children in your household, here are some tips to ensure they do not play online:

  • Use child protection software to block minors from accessing certain websites and programs such as SafeKids and Netnanny.
  • Create separate profiles for your children on computers so that when they log in they cannot access your information.
  • Do not leave your computer unattended when you are logged on to the poker client software.
  • Do not leave the “Save Password” option enabled on your DoylesRoom software login screen.
  • Protect your gambling programs with password access.
  • Keep your DoylesRoom account information out of the reach of children.

If you are aware of someone under the age of 18 who is registered and playing with us, please send an email to support@dbpn.com. Any account under suspicion of underage gambling will be investigated and if necessary frozen until identification from the player is provided.

Controlling compulsive gambling

DoylesRoom acknowledges that while most people see gaming as a means of entertainment, there will be others that can become obsessed with the activity, play excessively and negatively affect other areas of their lives. If you think you may have a problem check your behavior against our list of signs.

You may also consider contacting the organizations listed below for additional help:

If you are concerned about your gambling please note that we have a number of options available to help you get back under control. These are set out below:

Self-exclusion:

Self-exclusion is a means of stopping you from accessing real money play for a specific period of time. This means that you will not be able to log on to our software during a cooling-off period that you specify. We recommend a minimum of one month but the time limit is up to you. As soon as the self-exclusion period has ended, you will be able to log in again.

To self exclude, call our customer support team or send an email to support@dbpn.com. Our representatives are available by phone, email and live chat 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once the self-exclusion period has ended, you may call our support team to re-activate your account.

As soon as you request a self exclusion period, you will be asked to close all tables at which you are playing and you will not be able to make any deposits with your DoylesRoom account. You will not receive any marketing emails or newsletters from DoylesRoom.

Our policy is to monitor self exclusions and once a customer has excluded themselves 3 times, we automatically exclude them for a further 6 months.

Please note that all self exclusions are irreversible for the duration of the specified time you requested.

Any accounts using different screen names or addresses you might attempt to open during the exclusion period will also be blocked as soon as detected.

Deposit limits:

At DoylesRoom we give you the ability to control your own budget for playing online poker. You can set your own monthly or weekly deposit limits and request to adjust them at any time. Simply call customer support or send an email to support@dbpn.com with your request and we will update your account accordingly.

Keep in mind that deposit limits must be at least equal to the minimum deposit required on our site. If you want to increase your deposit limit, you have to contact our support team and this will be effective 24 hours after the call. However, you should be able to decrease your limit with immediate effect.

Responsible Poker Play

  • Keep in mind poker is a game and should be enjoyable.
  • Play for entertainment and don’t think of gambling as a way to make money. Don’t try gambling as a way to solve your financial troubles.
  • Set a time limit, decide how much time you can afford to spend gambling and when you reach that time limit - stop playing.
  • Set a money limit; always play with money that you can afford to lose.
  • Never try to chase your losses.
  • Check the amounts you spend on a regular basis in the Cashier.
  • Don’t gamble when you are depressed or upset.
  • Balance poker with other activities.
